ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES This position involves managing the day-to-day operations of the global and remote Accelerator Program at XRC Labs. There are a wide range of responsibilities ranging from managing startups during their participation in the program, developing and executing the XRC Labs curriculum, nurturing our relationships with our valued partners , including our mentor ecosystem, managing the alumni network and platform, to leading the production of major XRC events including Demo Day, Selection Day and Investor Day. Startup Programming Manage the on-boarding process for startups admitted to the program: Introduce startups to the XRC program and the NYC ecosystem Conduct an audit of the needs of the admitted companies. Personalise the curriculum accordingly Create a comprehensive schedule and tracking system of deadlines for the various deliverables. Constantly communicate with each founder startup on participation and deliverables Manage and report on progress of startups throughout program both from a strategic and tactical perspective Own day-to-day interaction with the startups during their participation in the program Closely track progress and identify issues that require support or management attention Emphasize growth and traction as key strategic priorities Monitor achievement of XRC deliverables during the program Upon completion of the program, support startup’s transition to the Alumni Network where we continue to provide support and resources to alumni startups Coordinate meetings for startups (including alumni startups as required) Introduce startups to relevant mentors, partners and service providers. Monitor progress to improve future interactions. Leverage XRC’S constant flow of visitors by facilitating startup introductions to our fund investors, Brands, Retailers as well as Angel & VC investors. Curriculum Execute established curriculum while iterating on its design to continually improve the content and delivery Modulate current XRC resources for increased online delivery Continue to iterate on online and offline meetings/classes Develop and maintain relationships with industry experts/speakers who lead the sessions Build and manage program budget Mentor Relationships Identify and recruit new mentors to participate in the XRC ecosystem Onboard mentors to XRC including identification and documentation of key strengths and inclusion in the XRC community and events Own the mentor matching and relationship development process: match startups with relevant mentors and monitor responsiveness and value add for both parties Continue to build and maintain the mentor database including specialities Partners and Service Provider Relationships Identify new partners and develop relationships to provide value-added services to our startups (including branding and design agencies, financial services, legal services, etc.) Onboard new service providers and partners Collaborate with select ecosystem partners to achieve mutually agreed upon KPIs Continue to build and maintain our Partner Resource Database including documentation of specialities Alumni Network and Platform Management Develop recurring practices for XRC team to frequently engage with 80+ alumni companies Build and manage an internal education portal for XRC founders Oversee the day-to-day operations of platform services Manage events including Demo Day, Selection Days and Investor Days Lead the production of key XRC events, including but not limited to event invitations, event execution, attendance management Manage XRC community social events (8–10 events per year) Events from intimate dinners to broader industry events Staff The Program Director will manage a Program Manager who will support the day-to-day operations of the program The Director is responsible for recruiting and managing seasonal/ full-time staff members WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR 5+ years of business experience ideally in fast paced, companies where design and innovation are critical values to the success of the organization Detail-oriented and an expert at time management and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Experienced manager with ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and team members of varying seniority Enjoys modifying and fine tuning processes to improve them in a dynamic environment Superstar communicator - can communicate deliverables and plans clearly and concisely in any format to all key stakeholders Personality and ability to keep team and startups on track and organized Dynamic, energetic, and can-do attitude Willingness to be a team player WHAT WE OFFER Salary in-line with experience 401K through Guideline Health benefits, including a partnership with Kindbody Learning & development opportunities, including a partnership with Class Rebel Flexible PTO Hybrid work environment A fun, engaging, and inspiring work environment A dynamic and supportive team that loves the work they do!
